We are now making boat tours to Linnansaari National Park from Oravi. It is also possible to rent canoes, kayaks and small motor boats. In Kolovesi National Park the lake is still frozen but we expect the ice has melted before first of May. We start the canoe renting season also in Kolovesi as soon as the lake is open there.

The village shop is open normally and we also make home deliveries. A plexiglass has been installed to the sales counter in the village shop to protect the customers and vendor from the virus. The restaurant is closed but in May we will start to bake take away pizza. The villas and hotel rooms in the apartment hotel can be reserved normally. In all facilities we follow special hygiene requirements and we have enhanced the cleaning.
For now, the nature/lake safaris will be organized normally for groups max.10 people unless the officials set new restrictions. Instructions to nature/lake safaris:
-- In May the seal safaris are organized as planned. However, the group size will be only 6-8 people/per boat (depending on the size of the boat) so that there is plenty of space on the boat. We have 4 boats. You can also reserve a private seal safari just for your own group. The fishing safaris will be organized for small private groups.
-- The boats will be washed regularly, and the binoculars disinfected after each safari. One cannot participate in the safari if one has flu symptoms. We recommend using respiratory protective equipment (a scarf or a mask), we will not shake hands and avoid close contacts.
-- Please do not participate in the safari if you are sick! Contact us if you get sick before the safari, we can postpone the safari to a later date without additional fees or you can cancel it in which case we will comply with our normal booking conditions. Cancelled safari can also be exchanged to an open gift card to all our services and that is valid for a year.

The route is open from Oravi to Järvisydän and it is still in good condition. There are planks over cracks and on the northside of Issakka island one has to go around a crack by going to the island. The sun is shining and wind is blowing 6m/s. The equipment rental is open 9-17.

It is a sunny day outside for tour skating. The route from Oravi to Järvisydän (18km) is open. There is few marked cracks on the route that have planks for crossing. The crack next to Issakka island one has to go aroung on land. Equipment rental is open 9-16.

The route from Oravi to Järvisydän is open, the ice is very smooth. The crack on the northside of Issakka island one has to go around on land, other cracks have brdges for crossing over them. It is a beautiful sunny day for skating today, it is -2 degrees and wind blows 4-5m/s. The equiment rental is open 9-17.

The skating route has been checked and is open to Issakka island (circa 2km). The crack next to Issakka island you can go around on land if you want to go towards Linnansaari. Note that skating beyond the checked route on your own risk. The situation with the ice can change a lot during the day, morning is the best time to come skating. The equipment rental is open 9-17.
EDIT at 12: The route is now open all the way to Linnansaari, the strenght of the ice has been checked on the route before midday.
