The ice route has now been ploughed but the ice is uneven. You can use a kick spark to move around the track but it is not suitable for skating. The hiking trail is suitable for walking and skiing. There is also a traditional skiing trail in the forest Oravi and it is in good condition.

The whole ice skating route Oravi-Linnansaari-Järvisydän open. It snowed a little yesterday and the route was plowed right after. The snowfall gave a little more traction to the hiking trail where you can walk and ride a bicycle. The rental office in Oravi is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Linnansaari's pancake cafe is open this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Today is a good day to go skating or take a kick sledge! The entire route from Oravi via Linnansaari to Järvisydän is open and in excellent condition. The sun peeks out from behind the clouds and it's a few degrees below zero. Oravi's equipment rental and shop-café are open from 9-17 and pancake café in Linnansaari is open from 11-15. Lunch soup is also served in Oravi. Public waterfront sauna and winter swimming in the ice hole in Oravi at 15-17 (7 €/person), payment to the reception.

The skating route is now in really good condition and open the whole way between Oravi-Linnansaari-Järvisydän (18km/one way). Oravi's equipment rental and shop-café is open from 9-17, reindeer soup is served for lunch.

The ice looks great. After the overnight frost, you can skate all the way from Oravi-Linnansaari-Järvisydän right away on Wednesday morning. The rental office in Oravi is open from 9 am to 5 pm.
