All our guides have paddling and first aid certificates and have years of experience on these waters. With a guide you can relax and enjoy the landscape because the guide navigates, lights the camping fire, cooks all the meals etc. The guides also have stories to tell about wildlife and local lifestyle.

Most trips need at least 4 participants and we gather groups on request. Sign up for our next departure online, in our sales office or follow announcements in our journal and event calendar.

A different canoeing trip using giant, safe, 7-meter-long voyager canoes in the rugged landscapes of the Linnansaari or Kolovesi National Parks. This trip is ideal for companies or other groups that want to enjoy the unique lake nature and the team spirit. Before starting the trip an experienced guide gives the participants safety education and teaches the basics of paddling technique. During the trip we'll enjoy a wilderness snack.

Duration of the tour: 2-3 hours.
Degree of difficulty: No former canoeing experience required.

Route: The canoeing route and possible landings can be planned together according to the wishes and time limits of the group.

Kolovesi National Park is characterized by wilderness-like landscapes, narrow bays and sounds as well as labyrinthine islands. During the trip we have packed lunch and get acquainted with the famous rock-paintings . On the hottest days we can dive into the refreshing waves of Lake Saimaa.

The paddling trip to Linnansaari National Park starts in Oravi harbour. First we learn the proper paddling technique and safety skills. Then we paddle slowly and admire the landscapes having breaks now and then. During the trip we have lunch by the camp fire. On hot days there is a possibility to swim in lake Saimaa.

A full-service paddling trip for the whole family in Linnansaari National Park. Our local guides have many years of guidance and paddling experience from this area. In addition to nature experiences the participants have the culinary possibility to try local fish and game delicacies.

Excursion starts from Oravi village where we gear up and get to know each other. Paddling trip starts and we'll head directly to the blue waters of Linnansaari National Park. Our paddling route will go trough the island labyrint ending to Linnansaari main island where we stay overnight. Accommodation in Eco hostel in traditional log gottages. After a day outdoors we'll enjoy a dinner prepared by the guide, have sauna and mayby a little walk around the nature paths and museum croft area. After a well slept night in a cosy hut and breakfast we'll head deeper into the national park waters. These waters are especially good for spotting the worlds endangered seal "the Saimaa ringed seal" as well as the majestic Osspray. With a bit of a good luck we'll spot both!

After the paddling and wilderness lunch well return to Oravi where we end the excursion.

• Daily program / route description: Paddling route goes past the islands through the labyrinths of Linnansaari National Park. Routes are planned as the safest at the time, weather conditions taken into consideration. Previous paddling experience is not required.
• Equipment: All the equipment are included into the price, gloves, shoes and sleeping bags. Guide takes care of First Aid kit and camping equipment. Participants take care of other personal belongings and clothes. Pack at least: few sets of spare clothes, towel, hat/ sunglasses, rain gear, drinking bottle and personal hygiene products.

Welcome to experience the quiet lake wilderness of Kolovesi National Park with our qualified guides. On our tour we paddle through the whole area of the National Park into the world of Saimaa ringed seals. Accommodation in a real logging cabin in Mäntysalo island or in Villa Kolovesi. The experience will be crowned by traditional sauna and three-course dinner.
