Booking- and cancellation terms for programs, restaurant services, sauna products and equipment rental

 

Confirming the reservation
The offer made by SaimaaHoliday is valid two weeks from the offering date unless otherwise stated. When confirming please inform the program you have chosen, timing and number of participants. Please note that we have not made any advanced bookings for your group when the offer was made. To guarantee the availability for the services, please contact us as soon as possible. Resevations are confirmed by e-mail to the SaimaaHoliday sales office.

Menu- and drink choices as well as special diets must be informed at least one week before the program starts. The confirmed order is valid for the number of people stated in the confirmation. We will accept a changed number of participants for a confirmed order by a written notice at least 7 working days before the date of the activity. This will be taken into notice in the final bill.

SaimaaHoliday hopes that its services will be paid for on site in cash or by debit / credit card. Services can also be invoiced. In this case a separate billing surcharge of 6€ / invoice will be charged.

 

Program rules
SaimaaHoliday reserves the right to change the routing, timing or contents of the programs, for instance because of difficult weather conditions. The client must inform the sales office or the guides in advance if there are some health problems in the group. If the physical condition of the client will change or the client will put his/herself or others in danger, SaimaaHoliday reserves the right to interrupt the program.

The participants of the programs have to follow the guide’s instructions. The self risk of motor boats and snow mobiles is max. 1000 euro/damage. Drivers are not allowed to drink alcohol before or during the trip. If the guide finds that the client is intoxicated or under the influence of another drug, the guide has the right to deny the client participation in the program. In these cases, the client is fully liable for the program he/she has ordered.

If the client arrives late for the program SaimaaHoliday has the right to charge an extra 35 euro/starting hour/ staff member. Employees are all the people needed to handle the order/program.


Rental equipment
The client is responsible for the rented equipment and liable to pay any damages that he has caused. When renting a canoe or a boat we require that the passengers use the life vests provided. When renting a canoe we also require swimming skills. Canoeing / boating happens at your own risk.

 

 Cancellation of day programs, sauna products, restaurant services and equipment rental:
•    Cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled 1 day or less before the event
•    Cancellation fee of 15% is charged if cancelled 14 days or less before the event
•    Office fee of 15€ is charged if cancelled more than 14 days before the event


Cancellation of overnight programs:
•    Cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled 7 days or less before the event
•    Cancellation fee of 15% is charged if cancelled 30 days or less before the event
•   Office fee of 15€ is charged if cancelled more than 30 days before the event

 

If the client cancels the breakfast reservation made in connection with the hotel room reservation, the same cancellation conditions apply as in the hotel room reservation.

RIGHTS OF SAIMAAHOLIDAY NETWORK MEMBERS TO CANCEL THE RESERVATION

In case of force majeure, SaimaaHoliday company or subcontractor may cancel or suspend the performance of program/service. In this case the customer has the right to get back the amoount that may have been paid to SaimaaHoliday in full or the price corresponding to the unrealized part.
